SKALPELL is a project co-founded by harry w, henry I/O (ecm) and bruno r (sleepwalk, no longer involved actually) in 1995. the purpose is to analyze, explore and reflect the frontiers of human behaviour in all it's outgrowth.

Harsh noise sculptures symbolizing the suffering and disease of the mentally over-evoluted human race. meditative and repetitive sonic paradigms open the door to passive resistance. SKALPELL are forging through our souls with morbid obsession, like mad scientists in their blood-stained white dresses. it is a vivisection of your consciousness. it can be interpreted as an apocalyptic vision or just as a mirror of reality.

SKALPELL offers you the soundtrack to the progressing degeneration of our species illustrating the forthcoming big crunch of so-called 'intelligent-life' as we use to define ourselves. therewith by opening your mind to SKALPELL you are given a powerful tool for personal catarsis before reaching terminal relief.
