Biography

Craig Michael Titus was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on Jan 14, 1967. The eldest of Michael and Sandra Titus' three children, Craig became involved with weight training after high school. In high school, Craig wrestled for his school team at 132lbs. After graduation, he became tired of being small and decided to put on some muscle via weight training.

When Craig graduated from high school he was 5'6" and 140lbs. By the age of 21, he was 5'9" and 185lbs. Once he started weight training and seeing results, he was hooked. Craig did his first bodybuilding show after he was told by the legendary Lee Labrada that he would do well in competition. Craig's first bodybuilding show was the 1988 Houston Bodybuilding Championships in which he won the Men's Open middleweight class and the overall title. After this show, Craig continued to progress and in the next few years moved up two entire weight classes.

After battling for several years on the national scene, Craig realized his dream in July of 1996 with an overall win at the NPC USA Championships. Craig has decided to take the 1997 professional contest year off in order to improve his physique. Watch for Craig to storm the pro ranks in 1998 or 1999!

Hobbies/Interests: Craig's true love is street motorcycles. He has a 1996 1200cc V-MAX that boasts 162 horsepower. He enjoys riding for hours. Craig also enjoys movies of all kinds and rock climbing.

Person Craig Admires: Tom Cruise. He has never made a bad movie! To be so incredibly successful at such a young age is a great accomplishment.

Future Goals/Ambitions: To be the 1998 Arnold Classic Champion. To start two businesses by the end of 1998. Further in the future, to be retired and living in Dallas, Texas off the interest of savings. His plans are currently on hold as Craig serves out a jail sentence in California.
