The band was formed in may '91 by Øystein G. Bruun on guitars and Erlend Erichsen on drums. The name on the band was then Purgation which was a stupid name and they changed it soon after to Molested.

A month later two new members joined in (Kenneth Lian on bass, and Trond Turnes . guitar) and they started to practice more seriously. They practiced for many months and decided to record a demo, and right after Mayhem finished the recording of their album the took their place in studio. We used 8 hours in a 16-track studio The result became their first demo "Stalk the Dead", which they have received lots of good reactions to.

After all, they had just played for a year when they recorded that demo and before that none of them had even touched an instrument.

After the release of that demo they started to work even harder on new material and their second demo "Unborn Woods in Doom" was out.

The demo was recorded in a professional 24-track studio, which has been used by bands like Immortal, Burzum, Mayhem, Enslaved, Emperor and Old Funeral.

The demo contains 4 songs (+intro/outro) of brutal death metal with lots of melody and atmosphere (hopefully).

They have been working hard, and has since released a full-length CD called "Blod Draum" on Effigy Records, and a cd-single called "Stormvold". - They brutality has worsened (and that in a Very good way!)
