Lord Belial tread the dark waters between precision riffing and hellspawned BLACK METAL, with their very special own trademark; FLUTE.

Stunning new release from one of Sweden's major BLACK METAL acts who rekindled the spirit of early CLASSIC METAL riffs and BRUTAL BLACK METAL.

Lord Belial is featured on the "BLACKEND" compilation which is the worlds first compilation album dedicated to the art of BLACK METAL.

Lord Belial was formed during the winter of 1992 by Guitar player/Vocalist Dark, and Guitar player Vassago, who have known each other from other bands. They soon recruited the Bass player Bloodlord and the Drummer Sin. August 1993 they recorded their debut demo "The Art of Dying" and did a small tour in south of Sweden.

Then they found Lilith on Flute and the line-up was completed. A video from the song "Jesus Fails" was recorded in September 1993 and it was broadcasted on Swedish Z-TV and some smaller stations. In the spring of 1994, a second demo was recorded and some months later the band singed to No Fashion records. It's an album that shows the strength of Swedish brutal Black Metal with the "trademark" of Lord Belial; Flute. CLASSIC METAL meets BRUTAL SWEDISH BLACK METAL. The rest is history.
